The 2009 Softball season is under way! Lydia played her first game last night of the season. The other team was tough. The final score was 16-6, we lost. Towards the end of the game, the girls really began to work as a team. I think they all learned where their weaknesses were and will be working hard to do better next time.

These are Jesse's kiddies. Right after church on Easter Sunday we hurried up and took their pictures before they put on their play clothes. It was quite a sacrifice as they were starving and the smell of baked ham was wafting its way toward their noses! Michaela is 7, almost 8; Jeremiah is 5, and Shiloh just turned 3.

In April, we celebrated Shiloh's 3rd birthday.

Laura turned 20 in March and Aunt Mary Lu sent her a pretty green sweater for her birthday. She was on her way out the door to her first class of the day and wasnt' too thrilled to have to pause to get her picture taken. Thank you, Mary Lu for taking such an interest in my "girls"! You are so much fun!

In March, we had a wonderful visit with our Connecticut friends, Mike and Sally Jones. Their son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren live here in Greenville. We had so much fun talking over old times and laughing at one another in our various stages of "oldness"
