Posting pictures on my blog and on FB takes too much time, so for any of my long distance friends or family who want to "see" us, check out the blog..sorry if there aren't too many of us "old" folks on there!

Laura's birthday party with the fam! She will be 21 on the 26th! We thank the Lord for the wonderful family He has given us.

This past week it was "grass" and jelly beans..

Lydia has been making birthday cupcakes for the little girls in her Release Time class. This time it was ladybugs and sunflowers.

Every now and then, we get to take a little trip with our children and grandchildren up to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to take them skiing. It just depends on whose around as to who gets to go....
This year it was just Jesse, Elisabeth and their three kids, and Laura and Lydia.
Great times!
ONe of our missionary friends is back in the states for a few months. Her name is Jan Berbin. She and her husband and son are missionaries in Papua New Guinea. There are several other folks there from our church as well. Val wanted to have a few ladies over for lunch to honor Jan so here we are. Val's daughter, Heather, was home from China for 2 months so she got to be there also! What a great time of fellowship we had and yummy food, too! Before we broke up for the afternoon, Lydia and Heidi played their duet piece for us. We thank the Lord for our Christian "family"!

We had a fun banquet for our church this past month. Had a western theme. Laura's good friend, Hannah, and her cousin entertained us on guitar and violin. It was potluck so the food was great and the fellowship the best in all the world!

Here we have a few pictures of our "winter wonderland" which is about as wintery as it gets. Paul had just thrown a snowball at Lydia and she was prepared to get him back!
Matt and Lydia were making snowmen but the snow was very dry. Poor Lydia hardly knows how to roll snowballs, she's only ever done it once before!!! We were very thankful for it since it only happens once in a great while!
