Lydia's play "Salvation in God Alone"











The 6th through 10th graders of our home school group at church put on a play about "our God as the Sovereign who alone can save aa demonstrated in the Old Testament events described in the book of Esther and celebrated in the Jewish feast of Purim" which was observed on the day of her play. The king was Clay Wiginton, Queen Esther was Esther Kelly, Haman was John Naselli, his wife, Zeresh, was Deborah Dahlhausen, Mordecai was Chad Willis, and a many others.

During Mary Lu's visit, we went to lunch at the Brick Street Cafe, then we toured the historic Poinsett Hotel,

Granny Keck's visit


Last Saturday, Granny and Uncle Gary came up from Anderson for a short visit. Preston is 6 weeks old here. You see how much Granny was enjoying him, he's such a little cutie pie!

Two of the fountains we saw that were barely flowing because of the cold!


We spent the afternoon in Gatlinburg looking in all the shops. The girls had lots of fun posing for pictures. It was freezing out there!

The weather was good and cold and this was the first snow we had seen all winter. The girls enjoyed themselves very much!

Valentine's Day
